I would like to say a massive thank you to Darren and his team. We needed our garden done asap with Darren being busy we decided to purchase the soil and turf from him and give it ago ourselves. With the help and advice we received we managed to lay the lawn. Darren calculated the exact amount of topsoil and turf needed from our measurements and pics we provided. The service we received from day one was outstanding. All the guys we met during the delivery process and speaking with Darren was faultless. I would fully recommend them and the quality of the turf and soil were fantastic. Well done guys. So pleased and so very happy.

Daren and his team have just finished totally transforming my garden, building a fantastic patio, paths, planting and turfing, also laying a shed base. In a nut shell: 5 star service and great quality turf. I have purposely waited a month to write this review as that’s how long we were advised to leave the turf before walking on it / cutting it etc. and wanted to see how things panned out. From day one, communication was clear, we got a quick quote and they arrived when they said they would (pretty shocking given some bad experiences I’ve had with trades)!! I’ll admit, they did the job when I was at work so I guess I can’t comment on specifics but when I got home from work (other than a beautiful new lawn) you wouldn’t know they had been. They had obviously cleaned up after themselves and we even had a comment from a neighbour saying how hard they had worked. The lawn itself looked absolutely amazing and it was clear they had used top quality turf. We were given all the information needed to look after it for the first month and beyond. The day finally came that we could walk on it and cut it and, again, we had been given clear advice about how to approach it and now it looks a million bucks! Thanks to everyone at Downs. We had them recommended to us and I will certainly recommend them to anyone who will listen.
