Recently had an underground survey before work being carried out and found them very reasonably priced. Guys in the office were excellent at guiding me through what we required and getting the paperwork through quickly. Thank you.

Warning: Costly Experience with Subvision for extremely poor quality Underground Services Survey We contracted Subvision to perform a combined topographical and underground services survey for a planned home extension. This survey, which included Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR), was crucial for accurately identifying existing buried utilities and informing the foundation design. Unfortunately, the survey results proved to be inaccurate. Subvision misidentified a crucial sewer line, leading to a costly and stressful situation. Here's what happened: Subvision incorrectly identified a Foul Water sewer as a Combined Sewer. They failed to detect a critical Surface Water main sewer altogether, despite it being within the surveyed area. During the foundation stage of construction, the piling machine accidentally struck the undetected Surface Water sewer, causing significant damage. The consequences: We incurred financial costs of £9,490 for repairs, delays, and foundation redesign due to the inaccurate survey. This caused considerable stress and inconvenience during our building project. Subvision's response: Despite our concerns and the onsite operative's admission of a mistake, Subvision, led by James Hook, continued to deny any responsibility for the errors. We are currently initiating legal action against them. Important advice for potential customers: Based on our experience, we strongly advise against using Subvision for underground services surveys. We encourage you to consider other companies to avoid potential financial losses and project delays. Please note: This is a factual account of our experience with Subvision, presented without embellishment or personal attacks. We have refrained from including any offensive language used by their staff.

We had the misfortune of contracting Subvision to carry out "a topographical survey of the site to identify all visible site features and an Underground Services Survey using Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) to identify existing buried services within the site". This was to guide the foundations design for our home extension. Subvision incorrectly identified a Foul Water sewer as a Combined Sewer, and failed to detect the Surface Water 300mm main sewer in the area they were paid to survey. Unfortunately the piling machine struck this Surface Water sewer during the foundation stage of our build. This landed us with hefty repair, delay and Structural Engineer foundation redesign bills. Subvision, led by James Hook, continue to disclaim any responsibility, despite their lead operative onsite stating "I've f***ed up" on his return visit. Our legal action is ongoing, but in the interim I would advise other potential customers to save your wallets and headaches and to chose another company for your project.

Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. The job itself was completed to a very high standard and the drawings that were provided afterwards were incredibly detailed and accurate. We have used similar companies in the past but these guys were so much better than all of them put together. Would definitely use Subvision again and look forward to doing so.
