The room was very clean, it's in a good location and the young lady on the desk was very polite and very helpful.

A popular and regular (ish) stopover. Always get here if we can.

Functional room with a clean bed and hot shower. Convenient location and handy with parking. Paintwork a little tired, especially in the bathroom. Additional towels requested and supplied. Breakfast buffet, more than adequate with good service.

Hotel doesn't have a restaurant and the harvester next door was shut. Only option for a meal is a stroll up the high street. After a walk up the high street and a chat with the locals I was assured the harvester is terrible anyway.

Good location for my work visit. Wifi not the best Pity the Beefeater next door was closed. But the pub 12mins walk up the road was very good.

Everything about our stay was superb! Couldn't ask for more. Rooms: Room was big enough for a family of four

Well, having stopped in hundreds of Premier inns due to work commitments, this was the most memorable. I entered the dinning room this morning and was greeted by a bubbly lady called Genna who couldn't do enough for me and everyone in the room. All staff were fantastic and a credit their level of customer service. Should I be working in the area again, I would definitely return. Many thanks for getting my busy day off to a great start! Kindest regards, Mark

Stayed here whilst visiting family in London. Lady at reception was very friendly and also provided a fan when the rooms were to hot. Ample parking spaces which is good however not much to do in and around the hotel which is the reason of taking a star away. Didn't have breakfast so can't comment on that aspect

Once inside you could be mistaken for thinking that you were inside one of the more down at heel Travelodges. It is well past it's sell by date. The bedside table was filthy and obviously hadn't been cleaned. The room was cramped and dingy. On the plus side, it is close to a large Sainsbury's and next to the A127. I had a room at the back, which probably helped reduce the noise from the boy racers during the night. Probably one of the worst Premier Inn Hotels I have ever stayed at. Now most are new/refurbished and a pleasant experience. Some however are not and this is a lingering ugly duckling in the chain.

Hard to complain about premier inn for the price. All we expect is a clean room and friendly service. We got those here. Breakfast staff really impressed us, so friendly. There was a near-miss incident involving the coffee machine which we have reported to management and are waiting to hear about, but the staff on duty couldn't have been more apologetic.
