Parish Rooms offers a touch of class for your wedding or birthday party, with space for up to around 70 guests. I often DJ here and the parties always go with a swing because the venue is compact, and the bar is in the same room so it doesn't fragment your guests. The hot buffet food is delicious. Make sure your DJ sets up ground floor, under the mezanine floor by the alcove and not upstairs to get the best results. I offer a DJ and Photographer package - I'll be happy to help.

Wow is all I can say. I held a surprise birthday party for my partners 60th Birthday. Everything was amazing from the organisation of the day itself, I’m based in Portsmouth so everything was managed remotely. Emily and Laura were fantastic and nothing was too much trouble. On the day itself the bar staff were so helpful and made sure the evening ran smoothly and the food from Gather and Feast was delicious. I would thoroughly recommend the venue and the team, we had the most amazing evening, we only wish we lived closer to do it all again. Thankyou team, you truly made our night so very special ❤️

We got married here at the start of September 2023 and we are so happy we chose this venue for our wedding. We had 51 day guests and another 20 roughly in the evening. Everyone fit perfectly, it wasn’t over crowded at all. The food with Gather & Feast were outstanding. Bar staff etc all lovely and helped orchestrate the day which took the pressure off us. I would 100% recommend this venue if you are having a small/medium sized wedding!! The pub opposite (the half moon) is a great meeting point for guests which adds another touch for this venue. We had our special day at this venue and wow I cannot recommend this venue enough. It was absolutely perfect, staff are all incredibly friendly and so so helpful. It’s the most beautiful venue that brings close family and friends together. We had the best wedding thanks to this amazing venue and amazing staff! Thank you all so much ❤️

We had the pleasure of celebrating our wedding at this venue; The day was an absolute highlight for both me and my husband as well as our guests. The venue is incredibly charming and ideal for intimate wedding celebrations. The staff was super helpful at all stages of our wedding planning and incredibly forthcoming and accommodating during the actual day! The caterer is booked alongside as they are in a business arrangement with the venue itself, which we thought was a bit limiting for us initially. However, the food and staff from the caterer are all incredibly skillful. We had a bit of a fusion wedding as my husband has a chinese family history, while I am from Germany, so we did want to include both of the special cuisines for our wedding menue. The Schnitzel was incredibly well done and I had a lot of my German side of the family coming forth to me and stating that this version is even better than any they had in Germany, while the caterers version of Char Siu was not quite comparable to the original chinese version. However, this was completely understandable for us as they had never experimented with this type of cuisine. The apple strudel, however, was the absolute highlight of the day! My husband and I still think about this particular desert to this day as everything about it was absolutely perfect. All in all, we can only say that the entire team went above and beyond to make this day be the absolute best. We are so happy that we chose to have our little wedding at this venue!

Had my daughter's wedding reception there on Friday 16th December 2022. Absolutely stunning venue and staff were wonderful.

We loved having our micro wedding at The Old Parish Rooms. The wedding was beyond our expectations, it was perfect and wouldn't have changed a thing. Laura was so professional, helpful and especially positive during a very difficult six months of having to postpone our wedding due to COVID, but it was the most perfect day. Laura was amazing in helping with all of our wants and needs, and also keeping us up to date on any guideline changes. Thank you so much for helping to give us a day we will never forget!

This is such a lovely venue! Perfect for an intimate wedding and has beautiful natural light and original features. It's a great space to make your own on your wedding day!

Wonderful, small, intimate venue to celebrate or host a function. Food was excellent, and although it was buffet style it was table service quality! Only negative is lack of parking facilities, plenty near by but this does involve a little walk if car park across the road is full
