Horrendous experience costing me £700+ within 5 months. Brought a car 5 months ago from Jemsco. Assured me alot of work had been done and CamBelt etc had been replaced from another garage. About 4 months into my purchase the coolant started leaking. Found out that this was due to a leaky water pump! Jemsco offered very little help with no effort to entertain the fact this car had been sold to me with the understanding this was a new fitting in the car! I admitted to myself that because it was out of warranty ( 3 months ) my only hope was to find out about the warranty on the parts that were fitted. Again no help from Jemsco informed me to check the service book when they had already explained they wanted nothing to do with it... even though the service book they gave me shows that I have gone down in miles over the last 12 months from their previous service!! Ended up getting it done from an external source and of course the belt and the pump were NOT new at all. Worst experience ever with any car sales and well and truly live up to the expectations of being a typical dodgy car garage. Not happy at all...

On monday I picked up my car from this company and I am so pleased with the service. I never felt pressured to make a purchase at all. I was given honest information about the two cars I had a test drive in. John was great showing me and my partner the two cars and booking in the test drives. Once i had decided, Martin dealt with all the paperwork and my new car was ready for me to drive away! Very friendly, reliable service from a local family business - I can definitely recommend them.

Had a great experience buying my first car (fiat 500) at Jems Co - The lovely salesmen wasn't at all pushy and was happy for me to have time to go away and think about it. He took me for a test drive and was a lovely man. I never felt pressured at all. They arranged delivery of the car as I was not local and did a full service and valet on my car too before delivery! They also taxed it; it was a great (and fair) deal for a great little car. I have been driving it for almost 2 months now and have encountered no issues so far. It can be a worry, especially for young women when looking for their first car, trying to find a fair deal and not be taken advantage of. Thank you Martin and team!

I purchased a used Fiesta on Sunday, the salesman I met was very helpful, polite, no pressure and willing to help wherever possible. The car I bought was fully prepared, valetted, and ready to go 2 days later. Upon picking the car up, everyone was friendly, courteous and everything was ready to go as promised. A pleasure to deal with and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a nice, great value used car.
