This place has in recent times had a renaissance with a much buzzier feel to the place, even in midweek. Friendly staff, great selection of beers and other drinks, a world away from the stuffy, smelly feel the place used to have.

Nice pub! Great quiz night. Good selection of 0% alcohol and fabulous choice of alcohol. Staff very friendly! Will be back in the near future!

Great pub,bar staff good despite it being a busy night when I went. Karaoke had a great sound with some really entertaining singers.

I love this public house. The staff are so friendly. The refurbishment has been very successful. I rarely go to pubs but if i do, this is my favourite. X

What a wonderful environment to spend a few days as my brother and I did. The rooms very comfortable all your needs met. The food is incredible using local produce as much as possible. The pub is very welcoming as are the owners and those in the bar staff. I highly recommend the Half Moon,when there, take a walk around Picture Postcard village as well the church. Wish my stay were longer.we both hope we can return soon. Marian and John

We popped in on Saturday night to get a feel for the place before we play here in March. The lounge was shut off as there was a private function but that was better for the band as it was a squeeze and people were into it. Great service, good selection of drinks and a great atmosphere for live music. Looking forward to our gig here. Update: We had a great gig here on the 4/3/23, great friendly crowd that were really up for a good time. What a pub!
