We wanted our shower refurbished as was now 10 years old and looked tired. Steve came round made some suggestions and priced up the job. We decided to go ahead, Peter the fitter, arrived timely, was respectful and professional. We were really pleased with the end product and the advice we received. When you employ a company to remodel your bathroom I think it reasonable to expect them to resolve any unforeseen issues that may arise, albeit at additional cost, however this was not the case with Bathtub. We had an existing shower pump but hoped to upgrade it to the more powerful one we had already purchased prior to deciding to invest on improving the sanitary ware. Unfortunately once this pump was connected it failed to work so the older pump was reconnected. This pump would only work by dropping the hand held shower head to the floor so there was obviously a problem. To cut a very long and tedious story short that involved many phone calls, texts and emails to Steve at Bathtub, John at Rak (the supplier of the shower) and The Shower Doctor, a new cartridge was sent which upon eventual arrival proved to be the wrong one. Finally we were sent a whole new valve which unfortunately failed to resolve the problem. We employed our own independent plumber who confirmed it was neither the pump nor the plumbing at fault and on further investigation both by ourselves and our plumber it became clear that the problem lay with our hot water pressure being too low. Whilst this is obviously not the fault of Bathtub, if the pressure had been checked and ascertained at the start, as you expect you any competent company would do, then the problem would have been identified and different decisions made. The plastering and tiling undertaken was exemplary and Ernest certainly worked extremely hard through a very hot week in July, finishing the bathroom in good time. I do however question his ability to fully understand the complexity’s of anything more than basic plumbing, as when asked to move the pump from its existing position in the loft, to a lower position he stated he didn’t have the experience... something our plumber later did in the space of 30 mins with minimal fuss. So, based on our experiences I can not recommend Bathtub and whilst others seem happy with the work, I can only assume they did not experience any unforeseen problems.

Highly recommend bathtub following recent upgrade of our ensuite. From planning to delivery, installation to completion both Steve from the shop and his fitter provided a very smart and professional service. Very happy with the results and would certainly use bathtub again in the future. A lot of personal touches which to us, differentiates from the rest.

Had our bathroom fitted by Steve it was a disaster ..and after a broken shower and mixer tap damaged for six months they finally sent the cartridge ..it was the incorrect size ..no one never answers the phone the extractor they reccomended is not stopping the evaporation of the hot water ..their is mold coming through the ceiling ..the led light blew after 18 months .i would like Steve or Theresa to contact me ..as it seems there is no alternative but to post this and report this to the governing body. I am afraid i would not reccomend this company

I recently had a bathroom and cloakroom fitted by Bathtub, the team were excellent and Steve and Teresa offered an excellent service. I am very happy with my bathroom and would highly recommend Bathtub!
